I have often recommended that my clients write an e-book or articles to promote their business. One of the best ways to sell an e-book is by using affiliates. Even if sales of your e-book are booming, you can make more money if you have affiliates, sales people who recommend your e-book to their clients.

Clickbank is one of the largest sources of downloadable products which makes it the best rated ebook reseller on the internet. They also offer an affiliate commission to those who recommend and sell Clickbank products. Website owners are always looking for ways to monetize their site, so many look through Clickbank for complimentary products.
When you set up your own ebook on Clickbank, you must decide the ebook price and the affiliate commission rate. There’s nothing worse than seeing a five dollar book on Clickbank because you’ve got to share that with somebody. Remember, you’ve got to share enough money to make it worth my while, as an affiliate. I’m not going to try to recommend a product that I can only make two fifty. The affiliates who will be selling your e-book will claim another 40 to 50% in commissions. Make sure that your commission is generous, as this will encourage affiliates to promote your book.
As the author, you get to choose the price. Make sure that the price reflects the content, and give them their money’s worth. After all, this e-book is downloaded which keeps production costs low. Be generous with your affiliates by offering a commission of at least 40%. This will encourage them to promote your e-book, driving sales upward. By using an army of affiliates, you can spread the word about your e-book and reap the rewards.
