Skates are the second most important piece of hockey equipment. The biggest mistake we see is parents trying to buy a skate that is two sizes to big so their child can grow into them. Unfortunately this will hinder their skating ability and put them at a disadvantage. You always want a skate that is the correct size with some growing room, enough for a season’s worth of growing.
