Started back in 1892, Liverpool FC has grown into a formidable grass-roots club with raw heritage. Keep reading below some of these amazing statistics.

Did you know that their stadium can hold a massive 45,362 people when full? Incredible.

Their youngest ever goalscorer is Michael Owen who scored playing away at the tender age 17 years and 144 days when playing against Wimbledon back on May 6th 1997, while their oldest goalscorer is Billy Liddell, who at the age of 38 years old and 55 days scored against Stoke City during a home game on the 5th March 1960

The most number of hat-tricks were completed by Gordon Hodgkinson who managed 17, while the most number of hat tricks scored during a single season was Roger Hunt who managed 5 hat tricks during 1961-1962.

Liverpool can boast some hefty top goalscorers too - we have got Ian Rush who managed 346 goals for the first team, while Roger Hunt managed 245 league goals.

One of the worst goalscorers was Ephraim Longworth who managed 371 games without a goal.

LFC have doen their fair share of spending and earning too. They received £12.5 million when they sold Robbie Fowler. The most they ever paid out, was for Fernando Torres.
