J.K. Rowling reopened the wonderful world of wizardry to kids both young and old when her incredible work, “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” was published in 1997. This series has been topping the favorites lists everywhere ever since. One craft enthusiast has produced a number of Harry Potter graphs to be used for making afghans either by knitting or crocheting. You will be directed to a page where you can sign up for the group. Once admitted you may be able to find something to meet your Harry Potter crafting needs.

There is a particular forum that can be found on The Leaky Cauldron online. The owners of the site have created several plastic canvas patterns, as well as the forum solely dedicated to Harry Potter. Although plastic canvas patterns can be used for cross stitch projects, the experienced stitcher probably won’t be satisfied with the finished results they achieve from using one of these plastic canvas patterns.

The book, authored by Frdrique Deviller, containing over 60 patterns with instructions in French, may be out of print. Whether or not it is available, contributors to several cross stitch forums regard the book as quite rare. In addition, those who have purchased the book report difficulty in using the charts.

Most people would prefer an actual kit to work from as everything they need would be included. At this point, there have not been any authorized kits available. Several people have created Harry Potter cross stitch kits and have sold them on eBay. So, this might be the only option you have if you seek an actual Harry Potter cross stitch kit.
