Having a eBay business is an attractive proposition to many, for several reasons but probably the most compelling is that it requires a very small up front investment when compared to a regular off line business.Plus also within a matter of hours you can be building an eBay business from the comfort of your own home.

It is certain that some people go into business to be able to do what they enjoy most.This might be the opportunity to make money from doing something you are really passionate about maybe it’s your favorite past time or hobby.

One reason eBay is so popular with buyers is we are all very busy people and often to visit stores especially those which sell niche items can require us to travel sometimes even interstate travel.By providing a eBay business that caters to your niche market you are delivering a much wanted service to your customer in the convenience of there own homes.

Another big bonus is you can wave goodbye to those ever growing gas bills as the cost of travelling to work continues to spiral ever upward. I can still recall looking out of my bedroom window watching my neighbour scraping ice from his car windshield while I looked forward to a day in the warm in front of my PC.

When you run a business from home you are able to claim tax deductions for expenses you incur day to day in running your business from home. Each authority has different rules so you should consult your tax adviser to find out exactly what you should be claiming.

In addition because eBay is a global market place if you wish you can sell pretty much to anyone in the world which means you are able to sell at any time of the day or night. If you are living in the UK for example you can work a few hours at night selling to the US markets.So you can watch your children grow up,meet them from school and even take a vacation at times to suit you.

The great thing is even if you work the same hours you used to in your job when establishing your eBay business every hour you put in is an hour building your business and future and you are now no longer answerable to anyone else.

Truth is when you run an eBay business you can control your own destiny and decide exactly how you will develop your business and in which markets you would like to sell in.
