Finding Wholesale Sources Is It Really That Freakin Hard?

If you are at all serious at building your ebay business in to a life long means of income at some stage you are going to have to find a wholesaler to provide you products to sell.

Surely it can’t be that hard to find wholesalers willing to provide you goods to sell can it? Well my fellow eBay entrepreneur I have some rather disappointing news for you. The vast majority of wholesalers would rather sell to their established off line customers rather than a newbie start up on eBay.

What can you do about locating wholesalers who are willing to supply you?

Well once again the most successful methods come down to research. One method that can yield results is simply to do a google search for key words such as “treadmills wholesale” or “yoga mats bulk supplier” or similar types of phrases.

One place few people realize is a source for wholesale merchandise is eBay. There is actually an entire category for wholesale lots. You can find this by just searching on the eBay site with the eBay search engine.

Another effective way I use myself is to use source products is an online whole sale source directory the most popular being found at World Wide Brands at www.auctionwealthsecrets.com/directory. This is a source that I use almost daily at it saves many hours of research. Check it out yourself and you’ll see what I mean.

If you live in a city where they hold tradeshows these can also be an excellent source of information and products. As trade shows are exclusively for business owners you will get the chance to meet suppliers face to face. This can help you build realtionships that would be much harder if conducted over the phone. Once again make sure you are clear on what you want so you don’t look like an amateur and blow all your hard work.

Although intimidating you could just get out the local or even national business directory and start contacting companies by phone. If you are trying to source products from abroad you may want to make initial contact via email or letter to ensure you can speak to some one who speaks your language or you will need to arrange an interpreter to act on your behalf as a very last resort.

When you have been working with suppliers for a while you’ll find they might improve deals that you had with them although you may need to suggest this. If the supplier values you business then they should be able to offer better terms making you more profits.
