The Calorie Shifting Diet Guide
Suppose you could find a diet plan that didn’t require that you eat only salads for the rest of your life or that you virtually starve the weight off? That would be a great plan for sure. Now you have heard that “come on” before because we have all seen commercials for wonderful and expensive pills that supposedly let you eat all you want and the pills just melt the fat away.
Most of us are smart enough not to buy into some unrealistic diet plan like that, although it’s ok if we have tried a few just to prove they don’t work. What we find out is that there are a lot of problems that come with those expensive diet pills. They seem to be of two types. They either make your metabolism run like a freight train so you sweat and quiver which causes fat to fall off or they do weird things to your digestive track so (in theory) fats are pushed on through causing your insides to feel like you have the flu. Both of these solutions make you feel slightly ill and on edge which would be fine except they also don’t usually do anything more than cause slight weight loss that comes right back.
There is one diet plan that is not a commercial scam and not some diet of excess and starvation that has not gotten enough notice and that is the calorie shifting diet. This plan doesn’t alter your insides to somehow make fat fall off of your belly or out of your insides the hard way. It is actually based on a scientifically research approach to diet that uses a balance of when you consume calories and in what proportions to stimulate your metabolism naturally to help the weight come off.
The great thing about calorie shifting is you don’t have to cut calories or stop eating good foods you like. You can keep you favorite foods but just shift when you eat them by spreading your calorie types over several small meals. The result is you enjoy the foods you love, get all you want to eat and you never have to endure that feeling of being deprived that is the cornerstone of most diets.
The problem with deprivation diets is that they take something out of the normal food your body expects to get so you begin to miss that food. The outcome is while you may stick with the diet for some period of time while the weight is falling off, at some point you get tired of that feeling of going without and you give in and enjoy the eliminated food and gain the weight back. The problem isn’t you. The problem is this is not a natural or realistic way to lose weight.
Each of the most popular diet plans have draw backs that have the seeds of failure built right in. On Atkins, you must put yourself into a harsh discipline to get where you need to be. Most people hate having to follow such a difficult plan and cheat when nobody is looking so the plan fails. Low fat diets similarly deprive you of the foods you like the most so you spend a lot of time “missing” those foods. If the weight loss stalls out, it’s very easy to give up. And low calorie diets also create a feeling of starvation but they require advanced tracking which is a huge bother and the weight comes off very slowly which means it’s easy to lose interest and give up.
It is for these reasons that a diet that causes the metabolism to naturally accelerate due to the right combinations and changes in the caloric intake of each meal works so well. A well tuned calorie shifting diet is effective because it causes the metabolism to naturally consume fat so you get thinner and lose weight in a way that doesn’t lead to the reaction to gain it back. And this diet is something you want to stay on because it lets you eat the foods you love in different proportions at different meals around the clock. And it does all this without costly pills or programs that can dominate your schedule, your health and your budget.
In fact, the real genius of a diet plan that works by shifting calories is you are a success by not cutting calories, just moving them around on your meal plan. By coordinating your food consumption into four smaller meals each day and shifting the calories from meal to meal, you lose weight by keeping our body constantly guessing. You modify the menu of each meal each day to move calorie ground constantly. So you might have breakfast at noon one day, in the morning the next and as your fourth meal the day after always shifting the way your body gets its calorie types causing the metabolism to stay active continuously. The most important thing about this plan is that it is effective and it’s a program that you can stay with because you eat the foods you like and because it really does cause the weight to come off steadily and to stay off which is your entire reason for dieting in the first place.
