Why people avoid anxiety attack medicine? This is very strange since they do not shun medication like panadol or anitbiotics.

But when it comes to taking medicines prescribed for anxiety depression, people seem to hesitate.

Why is anxiety attack medicine so bad that people do not want to take it? There is really no valid reason to not take it.

The main thing to understand is that anxiety medicine does not cure the illness. However, the medication does indeed helps a lot and there are more steps to it.

Do note that medicines do react when taken together with other drugs. They can become addictive if you take them on a long term basis.

Speak with your doctor, they will furnish you with the details.

Not all require medication.

The problems can be deeper than most think. Both the doctor and patient need to work closely to root out the problem.

Always ask alot of questions. This is especially on the topic of side effects.

Always know what you can eat or cannot in your diet when taking the medicine.

Ask and understand about changes to the medicine and how it impact you.

If the medicine is for long term basis, then you should know how long.

Some will be taking for the rest of their lives while some will be for a few months.

One question to ask is what if the person stop taking the medicine. Is there any impact?

Of course there are several more questions and above are just some samples.

Write down on a piece of paper all the questions that you can think of and bring the list when you next visit the doctor.

This is not about doing the right thing; it is about being part of the healing process.

It is much more easier to cope when one know the details.
