Don’t End Up In the Recycle Bin With a Bad Profile

Meeting women online should be one of the easiest ways to get a great date. The fact is, though, most men just slap up a ho-hum profile and hope for a response. Or - even worse - they whip out a response to HER personal ad that is about a mile beyond boring.

Take a minute and imagine you are a hot babe who has just put a profile up on an online dating forum. Next - imagine you are that same woman who, in an hour, has 50 emails from 50 different losers all telling her the same thing.

The first one she reads says, “Hi! I am a SWM age 30 looking for a SWF between the ages of 22 and 29 for a possible LTR who likes hiking, long walks and dogs”. DELETE! BORING!!! The next one, “Hey babe - wanna get together for some “no strings attached” fun? I promise you the night of your life!” To the trash can. And so on and so forth.

See my point here? You have GOT to do something ORIGINAL in order to get her attention. You need to come across in your email as someone DIFFERENT than the other 900 losers that emailed her and then, you have to get her OFFLINE and on the phone as quickly as possible.

And just how do you do that? Use some humor, my friend, and bust her balls a bit. Write something in your first email that would have gotten you a sound punch in the arm if she had been standing right beside you. Be daring, be a brat. Call her a dork or tell her that if she would wear green mud and cucumbers on her face at night it might help her wrinkles. Say something unexpected, and unique.

AND - another great tip for meeting women online - get different email accounts for each site that you use. Chances are - SHE is on more than one as well, so you don’t want to look like you are fishing for women here. But certainly DO get into more than one online dating site.

When you are responding to her profile - please be sure to respond directly to something she said in her post. Do not send out the same letter to 30 women. READ her profile and bust on something she said in it.

After that, you need to be sure to keep up to date on the site. If you want a woman, you need to be in the first few to respond to her. Check it every day or set up notifications for new profiles. You will have much better chances if you can get to her first before she gives up and accepts a dufus.

Remember, though, that when you DO get her attention, take it offline as quickly as possible - and understand that she may be a little freaked about meeting you. Meet her somewhere public and safe for her. Meet her at Cold Stone Creamery or for lunch somewhere. Meet her at the Mall in the food court.

So remember - online dating services are a GREAT place to meet women, and meeting women online can be a blast if you know how to do it right. So fire up your fingers and get to work. Remember - you CAN get the girl!
