A corset bustier is a stretchable corset undergarment or combination of a brasserie and corset or girdle. Like a regular corset, its function is to lift the breasts and flatten the tummy. This lingerie garment is worn on the upper torso. It usually extends from the breasts to the hips though some only go until the middle of the ribs.

Though the type of boning spells the difference between a corset bustier and a corset, modern bustier are often made with mesh panels rather than boning. Non-machine washable, this piece of underwear should only be cleaned with cold water, for the hot water could ruin the boning and wear out the elastic materials.

The lace-fabric, garter-strapped corset bustier doubles up as a push-up underwire bra for inner wear and as a camisole for outer wear, with panties usually included. Depending on your preference, you can wear it with or without straps or stockings.
