Choosing a Wedding Gown from Among Unusual Weddings Dresses
Probably the most money you will spend for a single day will be that for your wedding - the industry is worth almost 25.5 billion dollars annually and when a wedding has an average cost of approximately 25,000 dollars that’s perhaps not surprising. Organizing an enormous event like this when you are on a tight budget may seem an enormous task but it is possible; carried out properly, the majority of guests will not even realize they have attended a ‘cheap wedding’. Unusual Wedding Dresses
That hand-made wedding dress is going to be the most costly individual item. Planning the Reception
Controlling costs especially on the reception is probably the hardest part; if you want a cheap wedding, this is where you may have to start, firstly by reducing the number on the guest list. Try and keep your guest list to a minimum: ask yourself if you really need to invite family members you haven’t seen for years; instead, opt for a three course meal or a hot and cold buffet.
Other cost reductions can be made in where the wedding reception is held. It could take place in a friend’s house or a local club where money could be saved on beverages if they are supplied directly.
The Wedding Photographs
Although many photographers are employed for the entire day, this isn’t really necessary; the majority of guests are more than happy to take photos on behalf of the couple, and they will be ‘natural’ shots as well! Although it may sound like an unusual idea, you always have the option to not use a professional photographer at all. There is no reason why the photos can’t be taken by your guests and you will find yourself saving many hundreds if not thousands, of dollars.
Low Cost Personalized Stationary
Other areas where you can be assured of saving money is cheap wedding invitations and other wedding stationery. Today’s home computers and printers are able to provide near professional results. The quality of printers available combined with sophisticated programs means it is quite easy to make your own cheap wedding invitations if you have a mind to. In fact very professional looking results can be achieved on a home computer. Otherwise you may find some good cheap wedding supplies stores that stock some pretty cheap wedding invitations.
Flowers at the Wedding
There are also savings to be made with the flower displays; there is no reason why the flowers cannot be purchased from a wholesaler just as florists do. There is no reason why a friend or relative can’t bake the wedding cake; this will save more money plus the traditional fruit cake does not have to be used as there are many other fillings that people enjoy.
Transportation for the Wedding Day
One last money saving tip is too use the car of someone you know for the day, using this instead of a fancy limousine, you can almost guarantee they will be more than happy too.
Cheap weddings are possible without the wedding seeming it has been cost driven. The point is that guests enjoy the day, and I bet they won’t even notice the cheap wedding invitations, cheap wedding dress, cheap wedding decorations, or any of the other cheap wedding ideas you manage to come up with!
