Delray Beach is one of the most well-maintained and cleanest beaches in Florida. The city of Delray Beach is found in Palm Beach County, Florida. Popular beaches in Delray Beach are the the Atlantic Dunes Park and Delray Municipal Beach. The Clean Beaches Council certified Delray Beach as a Blue Wave Beach, because of its pristine cleanliness.Lifeguards and emergency medical personnel are always on hand in Delray Beach, especially on the busiest times of the day. Cleaning crew members are also around to keep the beaches neat and clean.

The beach conditions may vary throughout the year. Florida, however, is prone to lighting storms and thunderstorms; sometimes the beaches may be closed for safety reasons. Harsh conditions are rare but the occurrence of morning fog increases during the winter months.There is also danger of predatory fish, sea lice, and jellyfish. Colored flags are flown on the beaches to indicate warnings and the condition of the sea currents.

Downtown Delray is the cultural, retail, recreational, and residential center of the city. It offers many activities for visitors and locals. The Delray Beach Tennis Center has been a host to a number of international tennis events.Atlantic Avenue is the best area for shopping and dining. Downtown Delray also has a few museums and galleries for those who want to get some culture. The American Orchid Society and the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens attract quite a number of visitors each year.

This beautiful village by the sea is definitely a place to visit if you are a fan of culture, the surf, sand, sun, and the city all rolled in one.
