The History of Music

Music has been a part of human civilization for ages. Throughout ages music has been played in different forms by different civilizations and different nations as a symbol.

Music is considered to make a person feel better and also help them to relax. This is the case when music is used for religious events and parties.

So many people are in love with music. They listen to it, in order to release the stress they have or perhaps to dance. There are also countless forms of music.

People hear pop music, rap, jazz, orchestra music, metal, hip hop and other forms of music. Rap music is one the most popular forms of music in USA. Some of its genres are as follow.

1. On the east coast, famous singers like Run-D.M.C. and Big Daddy helped to grow the rap era. It is now widespread across the nation.

2. West Coast: in the mid 1980s west coast got its popularity against East Coast rap. Some of there notable singers were Too Short and Ice Tea.

3. Ghetto Mafia was partly responsible for influencing rap in the south. This came after both the west and east coasts had their success.

4. “Gangsta Rap” is a term known for a sub-niche of rap. Some think that Ice Tea is the person who helped to shape this genre. Others think that Ice Tea was responsible.

There are other types of rap music like Pop Rap, Jazz Rap, Christian Rap, Electro Hip hop and Conscious Rap. They all have emerged after 1980s and till now they have became popular all around the US.

It is not possible to identify every single genre of music out there. There are just too many when you really start counting.

Music plays an important part in religion. Music is used for prayer as well as meditation. It is also used in important parts of ceremonies.

It doesn’t matter what religion you are. Music has always played a big role in the services. It will continue to do so forever.
