Many parents are realizing just how important it is that their children eat a well-balanced and healthy diet. In a jar, place a cup of arrowroot powder, 1 tablespoon of dried chamomile that has been grounded and 1 tablespoon of dried lavender. This powder not only prevents a child’s bum from becoming damp when wearing nappies but also prevents the growth of bacteria as well.

Another product you may want to consider making yourself is a baby shampoo. Although there are plenty of good quality bamboo shampoos on the market, some can be extremely harmful to your child’s system. Instead, why not make one yourself using rosemary as the main ingredient. All you need is a bunch of fresh rosemary, pint of distilled water, 4.5 fluid oz of unscented baby shampoo and 4 drops of essential rosemary oil.
