Vacation Destination: Orlando
There are a lot of things going for Orlando. On top of the great and warm Florida weather, Orlando plays host to many theme parks and amusement centers guaranteed to make your stay extremely enjoyable and memorable. Arguable the most famous of these theme parks is Disney World, which is divided into four parts and encompasses more than 36,000 acres of pure, unadulterated fun. There is also Universal Studios, which is arguably one of the best entertainment centers in the United States, especially to those who are Hollywood movie buffs. Rounding up the triumvirate is Sea World, where you will be able to experience the fun and majesty of the creatures of the deep. To say that Orlando is a prime tourist spot because of these three (and many more) is a gross understatement.
Orlando in sunny Florida is home to three of the world’s best known theme parks and resort: Walt Disney World, Sea World, and Universal Studios. These three encompass the best of magical amusement parks and entertainment centers, catering to all kinds of people of all ages: kinds, adults, and everything in between. Disney World is the place to go when you want to relive your childhood, meeting such legendary cartoon characters like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and many more. It provides great rides as well as amazing live performances. Sea World, on the other hand, takes you to the magnificent world under the sea and introduces you to the many mysterious denizens that live within it. Finally, Universal Studios is everyone’s choice of entertainment especially if it involves high excitement in the world of Hollywood and the likes. It should be noted, however, that tickets to these entertainment centers are more expensive during peak tourist season. Going there during off-season will net you a less cheaper price for the same grand experience.
Weather-wise, Orlando is generally hot; it is probably almost tropical level. If you’re familiar with the other major places in Florida like Miami and its beaches, then you know what weather to expect in Orlando. As such, try to wear clothing that protects you from the heat but not too heavy. The best time to visit Orlando when you’re trying to get away from winter in your place is during January until the first weeks of February. Fall is also a good time since it is not generally considered as the peak tourist season. Whatever time you choose, however, you will always be assured of a grand vacation.
