Digital Wedding Photographs Are Superior
The wedding day is probably one of the best memories for people to want to hold on to And digital wedding photography has changed how wedding photographers can carry out this task ensuring the day is captured on for ever. Couples often have a DVD made as well so that even more of the happy occasion is captured.
Most wedding photographers have assistants to help them create beautiful wedding albums that will be oh so memorable but if you yourself want to take pictures of a friend’s wedding, who will help you? Here are some tips if you find yourself at a friend or relations wedding taking photos with your digital camera.
First, if you want to take a picture of the couple or any other guest, make sure that the background is good and the shot will not be too crowded. Don’t worry too much if you can’t get a full body shot of the couple, you can get around this by taking a head and shoulder shot of them which will also keep the photo from being to cluttered.
Although you don’t always think about it at the time, try to ensure those wedding guests wearing spectacles either take them off or provide you with a semi-profile shot. If there’s a couple or a group that you wish to include in the picture, you should use the zoom function to get the ideal image. Another tip is do not shoot against the light as the images will appear dark in the photos.
Where possible, try to capture shots that are natural and candid as these always look the best when viewed later; one way to do this is to use the cameras zoom feature. You should be alert at all times when shooting digital wedding photography since you can seldom ask people to keep posing for you and the day about spontaneity, and good things pop up all of the time.
The last thing you want to happen is for your digital camera to have half charged batteries and a memory card that is already half full as it will restrict how many shots you can take. For any camera with 6 mega pixels or above, you will require at least one gigabyte, preferably two gigabytes of storage space on your card if you intend to use high resolution.
If you intend to have the pictures blown up to a large size you will need to ensure your cameras resolution is set to maximum. Storing the wedding images on a computer or CD will mean that you can print them off whenever you want. You can also make a presentation CD or DVD with music that can be played when ever desired.
Previous generations have grown up in days where film and exposure, and old styles of taking photos were the height of technology, and todays young people do not have a clue to those old techniques, so to them the advent of superior digital photography for taking wedding photograps is nothing super spectacular, if they only knew how good they have it.
