Popular Wedding Favors

Wedding favors are one of the more interesting aspects of planning a wedding but often left a little late in the preparations. Many options now exist to fit almost any budget and even timescale if you are in a hurry. With this in mind, it should be one less item you have to worry about for your big day because your favors might just be a phone call away.

One option for an easy wedding favor, especially popular with the ladies is flowers. Owing to the nature of flowers, they can usually be left until later in the preparations which means the bride and groom will have less to worry about.

You might consider giving your guests a single red rose as a favor and this is extremely appropriate because a rose is a symbol of love plus roses do not need to be wrapped. You can simply purchase one for each guest and have a member of the catering staff, a friend or family member place one rose across each place setting after the tables have been set for the wedding reception.

The options available for using candy as an easy wedding favor are huge and probably the single most popular gift. Some people now use a more convenient way to present candy to their guests. This can be accomplished by using large bowls filled with different types of candy as the centerpieces on each table.

You can then provide each wedding guest with a small bag and a note encouraging them to enjoy the candy in the centerpiece. This could be called a self service gift because all you have to do is supply the candy and something to place it in.

To give your guests something they can keep why not leave a small picture frame on the table. Wedding favors that do not require any type of presentation are generally preferred and there is something you can do with picture frames that will avoid this problem. However, by using the picture frames to hold the place cards, you do not have to worry about wrapping them for your guests.

A different but still an easy wedding favor is to supply every guest with a picture of themselves arriving at the wedding reception using the services of a professional photographer armed with a digital camera.

So to make sure each guest leaves with their photo, the photographer could take along a fast digital printer then they could be printed out whilst the guests are enjoying the reception. Many professional photographers have purchased small digital projectors so there is no reason why you couldn’t request one at the reception and this way your guests could see the images that had been taken during the day.
