Using JV Giveaways To Build Your List
As an Internet Marketer you are no doubt aware of the importance of building up your own list of email contacts. Once you have a list you can earn more from it by sending out relevant promotions that you think your list will be interested in. The big question, however, is just how do you build your list in the first place?
An excellent way to start building your list is to contribute a free gift to a JV giveaway event. In these events many different marketers submit a free gift which could be a free report or ebook, a software application or even access to a private membership website.
Your free gift can be something that you create yourself or alternatively you could use either a private label rights or resell rights product. If you don’t already have a suitable product then searching for private label rights products should find you something that you can use as a gift either for free or for a small payment.
Once you have a product to give away you will need to set up a squeeze page to capture the names and email addresses of your visitors in exchange for your free gift. You will need to have you own web hosting account to host the squeeze page and an autoresponder to email out the link to your product once a visitor has entered their details.
Once you have your squeeze page up and running and delivering your gift you can then add your gift to a JV giveaway event. The giveaway will usually be open to the public for a limited number of days and people visiting the giveaway site can look through all of the gifts that have been contributed and download the ones that interest them. If anybody wants to download the gift that you have contributed they will be taken to your squeeze page and fill out the form which means you have just got another subscriber on your list.
Many JV giveaway sites have a one-time offer that appears when you first sign up as a contributor. In many cases this will be offering you a more prominent position for your gift in the listings so that you get more exposure and in turn more list subscribers. If you have the budget available to you to take advantage of this offer you should definitely consider doing so.
New JV giveaway sites are regularly opening so you need to keep finding new sites to participate in. By contributing to more and more giveaway sites you will keep getting exposure to your squeeze page and keep getting people signing up for your list.
