Tomorrow you’re computer will yield only a black screen, your cell phone won’t connect, the TV won’t have anything airing, and even your calculator won’t complete the easiest equation. Alright, maybe that’s not the truth; but can you image if it were? Whether you realize it or not, our entire society relies on technology.

Testing software products has become an undeniable necessity, rather than an option. As technology changes on a daily basis, and society increasingly relies on these tools, tests are implemented to assure quality resources for the consumers. To deal with the evolution of technology, improvements in equipment and tools have been made as well.

Without these outstanding tools, our standard of living would be significantly lower. Consider every piece of technology that you rely on every single day of your life. Now picture tomorrow with all of it gone! Professionals in the industry must do their jobs with great care and attention to detail, in order for us to rely so heavily on these resources.

In fact, companies that aren’t diligent with testing are asking for failure. The products that consumers are demanding are extremely complicated. This results in more room for error. If testers don’t invest enough resources into finding these flaws, the consequences may be extreme.

Also, because it’s clear that the world needs technology, new companies are starting all the time. This allows a greater variety of products to be introduced to the market than ever before. Automated testing allows companies to keep a competitive edge, and release products without major errors.

This concept more companies means that products are sure to be better quality. In order to gain the publics’ attention, products have to be outstanding. Companies are investing more money in creative development, testing processes, and marketing.

This actually translates into better products for consumers though. Companies have to consider exactly what people want, and then go about making a perfect product. If they fail to do this, customers will just pick something else from the overwhelming selection on the market.

Having reprocessing and reusing options available has advantages for both the consumer and the manufacturer. Without the software assurance process, these options would be more difficult to make available, and the associated benefits wouldn’t exist.

With fierce competition in the technological field today, software testing automatic helps products stand a chance. Adding levels of complexity to products make this automated method a necessity if there are to be the fewest flaws possible.
